Yesterday got a sms from the boss. There would be a company lunch tomorrow as Pavillion. Well at first I didn’t really take notice of the place. It’s when I remember that I read a food blog which mention about a donut Shop in Pavillion that it just register to me… OOOOOOh the Pavillion, the new shopping mall at Bukit Bintang area… Well, to cut the story short, I “tumpang” my colleague car and we arrive at the Pavillion at around 12 noon. Meet the boss and the first thing he asked was “Have you guys went around the place? I have already gone through. There’s Madam Kwan restaurant, some Japanese’s restaurant, western one and also asian. So where do you guys want to eat?” That’s like asking a kid a question “what toys do you want?”. But then ever the polite worker of us nearly all of us said, “ooooh wherever would be ok”. I did said nearly, one of colleague never did pass the chance to eat at her “on top of list:must try restaurant”, selected the place… where else the Singapore one la, Crystal Jade Restaurant. Apparently it was the first branches in Malaysia.
So we were usher in and sat at a big round table. At first glance I like how they arrange the tables and I really like the mirror on the wall which really make the restaurant look spacious which is a plus as you will not feel as if you’re eating in a cramped place. But then the downside is the service, well it is newly opened so they are still adjusting. For me not all the staff/waiter are fully trained. There was some mistake in getting the order, but then when the food arrive.. It was so good, sinfully tasty.. So if you’re thinking of where to eat at Pavillion, give this place a try. You won’t regret the food… The service is not up to standard but maybe another month or two. They may improve the services.. And oh, one advice if possible avoid going during peak time (lunch, dinner)… The place is jam and the service quality really goes down.. But for the food you won’t be disappointed…
So after lunch we went around the place, and the only thing that I can say is that. Pavillion is totally not my place to hang out. The shops are high class, much more than KLCC. There I said it, oh and another The Loaf can be found at the Pavillion…
